Michael Preminger's Bio

Born in the Bronx, Mike began his stand-up comedy career at the famous Improvisation in New York.
His many television appearances include: The Tonight Show, The Merv Griffin Show, The Mike Douglas Show, The Dinah Shore Show and The Dean Martin Summer Show.

Mike worked the Playboy circuit, appeared at numerous Catskill mountain resorts, such as the Nevele, Kutcher’s and the Concord, and has performed in nightclub and concert venues across the country as both a headliner and opening act for, among others, Connie Stevens, The Four Tops, Vic Damone, Jose Feliciano, the Pointer Sisters, and Blood, Sweat and Tears.

For a number of years Mike took time off from the road, concentrating, instead, on raising a family and on his writing career. With his writing partner, he wrote the critical and commercial hit film Nothing In Common starring Tom Hanks and Jackie Gleason. He and his writing partner wrote a number of TV movies, including Gleason, a biopic about Jackie Gleason.

For the last many years, Mike is thrilled to be back on stage doing what he loves to do best – making people laugh.
